The Historic Tudor
The design for the Historic Tudor surrounds a visually impaired couple with wayfinding, visual contrast of elements, and lighting being high priority design features to be addressed. Designs implemented to accomplish this include black baseboards, motion-sensor toe kick lighting in the kitchen and bathrooms, carpet in all bedrooms, LED lit mirrors, and varying textured furniture pieces. The floorplan also avoids any change in floor levels to avoid potential falls.
